MIDDLESBROUGH and Newcastle United have been handed contrasting fourth round draws in the FA Cup.

While Boro will be playing at the Riverside in the last-32 between January 26-29, the Magpies face a difficult trip to Chelsea or Norwich.

Antonio Conte’s Blues failed to win at Carrow Road over the weekend and the Canaries, of the Championship, will be looking to upset the odds by winning the replay at Stamford Bridge.

Middlesbrough, fresh from defeating Sunderland in the third round, will be delighted to have been handed another home date. They will face Brighton after they defeated Crystal Palace.

The fourth round draw has thrown up some intriguing battles elsewhere.

Manchester United will face the lowest ranked team left in the competition, Yeovil, at Huish Park.

Premier League leaders Manchester City will be travelling to either Cardiff or Mansfield.

Former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka, who has just been appointed Nottingham Forest manager, will be taking his new team to Hull City.
